Access to network with the guest, while having disabled the host device.

Hi everyone,

It is possible to make the guest SO (windows 7 in this case) can access to the network while being disabled the network adapter in the host system (Windows 7 too) ?

I want to have acces to the network in the guest system and have no access to the network in the host system. Is this thing possible? I guees i could do it connecting to the de network via USB network device, because the guest system can take the control of the USB device, making the host system being blind for it. I want to do this with the network adapter of the mother board. Is this possible?

Remove the TCP/IP protocol from the network adapter settings in the host and leave only the Vbox bridging protocol active.

The network device i want to use from the host is wireless.

Do i have to connect to the router via host with my device enabled and TCP/IP diasbled?? or can i connect directly from the guest SO??

Disabling the TCP/IP protocol will i disable all the posible connections to internet from the host??

Which type of network do i have to switch in Virtual Box for the guest system??

Ok, i have all working right now.

My host system is connected via wireless from the mother board device, with the tcp/ip protocols disabled.

My guest system is conected with the bridge option to this device.

The thing works like i want. The guest system can access to the network but the host system cant.
