I've been trying to enable 3D acceleration. I'm running on Windows 10 with Fedora 24 and KDE under Intel HD Graphics 4400. After enabling it, KDE becomes completely unusable. Windows don't open up, I can't navigate anywhere, and generally the entire thing won't work until I disable 3D acceleration again. I have Guest Additions installed.

I've been digging online but haven't been able to find a solution for Linux guests running on Windows hosts.

Has anyone ran into a similar issue?

Same here - The last few versions of VBox have had broken 3d accel for me. For example, if I start Atom (nifty git-aware code editor) and maximize it (perhaps even if I don't), then minimize it - Only the title bar disappears. The desktop behind it doesn't redraw. Clicking other apps on the taskbar will make them light up, but their windows do not draw. The "Start" menu will not draw when clicked, etc. I previously resolved the issue by installing an older version of the tools package or I can disable 3d accel, which isn't at all ideal when using the GUI.

I got a notice that a new release came out and I had thought "for sure they fixed that..." Nope. Still broken and now I need to go find that old tools package again.
