So i start Kali on Virtualbox and i boot it.
It starts well but when i select Install it turns on Black Screen.
But when i try to live boot it. at first it goes well loading the files showing those words like it does. but gets stuck on
: " Loading Please Wait 9.591229 hrtimer: interrupt took 16073129 ns "


I have enough memory to boot Kali. 2GB
enabled PAE/NX

Post the guests log file ( as an attachment ). Right click on the guest in the Main Manager then click show log. Save and post as an attachment. Compress if it is too large to post.

i dont understand

Since the person who has the same problem as i do didn't upload their log, could anyone take a look at my log and help me fix this installation issue.

You should enable PAE in the guest settings.

It actually is enabled i'll upload the latest log so you can see.

Disable the 3D acceleration until you get the guest installed and the guest additions installed in the guest. Then re-enable it.

OK so boot to the black screen and press the host+F1 keys. This should get you to a tty window. Next click on the device tab at the top and then click insert guest additions.
At this point you need to mount the device, sudo mount /dev/sr0 /media then cd to /media. Once there type sudo ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run which installs the guest additions.

If you don't receive an error type sudo reboot. If you do receive an error post what it says here.

When pressing f1 + host key (right CTRL key) it just makes the cursor appear and disappear no type of tty window popped up.

That is the tty window. Try typing what I said .

When i type nothing is being written, so its like i dont see what i am typing

Ok so let's start over. Delete the guest and when asked remove the files. Then create a new guest and leave everything set to default. Check to make sure PAE is enabled and try installing again. If you get to the same black screen then use host+F1 and see if you can type what I said.

Check the log out i uploaded my iso and left everything else as default execept for enabling PAE and it still led me to the black screen where i pressed host key+f1 and when i tried to type nothing would come up either.

Log does not show any reason why this is not working. It does show a host that is very low power but even then it should show something. If I were you I would download a Ubuntu 386 and see if that works as a test. At least it will tell you if this PC can even run a virtual guest.
