As is posted earlyer, deactivate the cpuid feature in your bios and be happy!

And again, all your posts do not make any sense, since there is no problem at all to know, what cpu you are using.

it is simply privacy , unless you do not care about security?

in fact, anything critical. This numbers just comfuzed me.
but as it turned out. This is like virtual machine simulates a serial number, which is not available by default. tnx to guys from another forum. moderators on this board I refused to explain .

Unless Intel makes a CPU exclusively for you, the CPU part number is not personal information.

I frankly don't believe this discussion is about security at all. I believe it's about defeating the machine signature check of some app.
