I am running Windows 10 64-bit with 8 GB ram as a host. I have intel video. I am running Fedora 23 64-bit with 4GB ram, 3d acceleration, 64 MB video ram. 2d video acceleration is not available. Virtual Box is 5.0.20 r106931.
If I launch gvim with the -p argument and several largish files and then quickly change tabs and scroll down with the page down button a bit, the system becomes very slow to respond. CPU usage on both the host and the guest seems low. This continues, even after I close gvim. I am able to safely shutdown the system but each click or typing takes a very long time to respond. The host is not slowed down at all.
Has anyone run into this? Any ideas? I tried turning off 3d acceleration but that did not help. Let me know what information you would like me to provide. Thanks!

This still happens under 5.0.22 r108108
