Hi,
I have a vm with ms-dos how can i copy a folder from win7 desktop to de dos vm to run a dos program

You can also transfer files to a DOS VM via a disk image: either floppy, CD, or a second hard drive (FAT16 formatted) will work. CD will require you to install CD drivers in DOS, and of course you can only use straight ISO 9660 (e.g. no long filename extensions).

I happen to be on MacOS and it turns out you can mount a virtual disk image directly in MacOS with existing tools. It's pretty hacky, but you get a simple read-write DOS filesystem mounted on the host operating system. I was able to follow the instructions shown on this site:
