Apologies for a repost, I've tried following the guides on how to remove, force an extension pack update but I can't for the life of me get it to work. The output says all the right things but I can't get it to work :(

Any help would be really appreciated. Are there any logs or other areas I can look. I'm a bit of a noob with virtualbox

I've just come across this behavior, different versions of virtualbox to this post but it may help someone.

I was running the uninstall/cleanup/install commands under sudo but the list command 'not' under sudo, just like in this post.

Running everything as sudo gave the responses I expected.
