Hi-
I just ugraded my Trusty Ubuntu version this morning to the latest 3.16.0-70 kernel AND upgraded my vbox version to 5.0.18.
My two Windows 7 VM's would not start after that.
According to my VM log, I got "Guru Meditations" on each VM after the VGA part of the VM was configured.
Nothing more seems to be in the logs other than the following:
emR3Debug: rc=VERR_MORE_DATA
and then:
Changing the VM state from 'RUNNING' to 'GURU_MEDITATION'
See attached for an example, search for GURU or Guru.
The log is divided into two since there is a 128KiB upload limit....
I see someone else on the forum also posted today about problems with vbox5.0.18 and the latest ubuntu (although not sure which version).
I have gone back to my previous kernel 3.16.0-69 and vbox v5.0.16 and everything works again.
I do not want to try 3.16.0-70 and vbox 5.0.16 because I do not want to corrupt (in any way) the Win7 VM I am using (even with snapshots - which I have 4 of).
Is anyone else seeing this or is it just me?
Thanks,
Bob
