Host: Win 7 x64
Virtual: Win 7 x64

Virtual running just fine except that internet is not working. Have tried to change the network settings but it just does not want to work.

Set it to NAT.

Topic moved to "Linux Guests".

Tried and didn't work. Went through all settings and bridged is the only one that works.

Windows host and Windows guest. Why the Linux Guests section?

Woops! I could have sworn it said Mint guest. Must have been the post I read just before. Moved to Windows Guests.

On NAT, I'll need more than "doesn't work". NAT means that the VirtualBox software on the host uses the host's internet connection just like any other host app, so if the host has internet, generally speaking the guest has it too. Does the host have Internet?

If yes, then AFAIK the issue usually has to do with a mismatch of IPv4 vs IPv6 connnections in guest and host. I'm not a networking expert and don't have IPv6 experience either. Perhaps one of our networking experts will chip in.
