Redraw issues

I'm running Arch Linux as a guest under Windows 10, using the guest addons from the .17 ISO on the website, and I noticed that after running certain xscreensaver modules (like "Braid") the display appears to fail to redraw, that is, the screen appears frozen but the system is still running and the screen redraws if I click on the VM menu bar. Is there any fix for this?

Edit: This happens both with and without 3D acceleration enabled.

This happens with version 5.0.18 too. I don't know if something's wrong with the program or my guest installation or something...

Hello,

I have quite simillar issue. I am using Arch Linux as a workspace, Windows 7 64bit is a host. My virtual machine has 3 screens. After a few hours of usage, all screens are frozen. I found a workaround for the main screen. When frozen screens appeard, I have to swich screen to any virtual console (CTRL + ALT + Fx) and then go back to xserver session. This helps but only for the main screen, another two are still frozen.

I have VB in version 5.20. Guest modules and utils are installed.

I am not sure, but probably the frozen screens always come with this line in Xorg.0.log:
