VirtualBox-5.0 core dumps on Linux 6.5

I installed VirtualBox-5.0 on Oracle Linux 6 successfully. However, when trying to execute virtualbox, the program core dumps. See below...
[root@mcchi Desktop]# virtualbox
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
[root@mcchi Desktop]#
[root@mcchi EM]# uname -a
Linux mcchi 3.8.13-16.2.1.el6uek.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Nov 7 17:01:44 PST 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
So I loaded in virtualBox-4.3 and it works just fine.
[root@mcchi Desktop]# virtualbox
