Windows 98 Force ACPI

Hello,

I lately installed an extension for our win98 machines to work with acpi command. The problem now is when the CMD is open running our programm, windows asks "to confirm we want to close the cmd", and acpi fails to work until you manually connect and press "ok". How can I manage to get it shut down by ACPI even the cmd is open?

Is there another way to softly shutdown an win98 Machine?
