"Loading please wait" while booting Kali in Debian machine

Post by g90 »

I'm running Debian on an old laptop without virtualization available on my CPU so running 64bit Kali is not going to work. I downloaded 32bit Kali virtual image (not the .iso), imported on virtualbox (latest ver) and removed the virtualization settings using this "VBoxManage modifyvm EBS –hwvirtex off" "VBoxManage modifyvm EBS –vtxvpid off" commands, I hit start and I see the boot menu, waiting 5s for this go on and then it's stuck on "Loading please wait" black screen. I have no clue what might be wrong. Same thing happens on Windows 10 and even creating an virtual machine and using the.iso is not working.

Here is the VBox.log
