Shared Folders + Admin rights doubt
Posted: 3. Jul 2008, 17:25
I have installed Windows SP SP3 as a guest and it's working great, I can even login into a domain and everything is fine.
The only problem I have is that Virtualbox shared folders only work when I have admin rights, which I don't have by default due to domain restrictions. So, it means that I need to log in as an administrator and assign my Domain username to the Administrator group before I can use the Virtualbox shared folder.
So, I'm trying to figure out how to solve this issue, as I cannot get permanent admin rights (they just disappear when I reboot). Is there any way to get Virtualbox shared folders working without admin rights? I can connect to other PCs on the network and use shared folders, except for the Virtualbox folders.
Has anyone been able to solve this or a similar situation?
Regards
