I just replied to another topic and after testing it myself, I found out the hard way the problem that Perry was talking about (changing the way that Xorg is running) is not yet solved in GAs 5.0.21-107220. Maybe that's what you were seeing as well. There is actually a "warning" in the downloads page. I don't want to duplicate it, but you can read it here.
