Guestadditions makes Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit guest bit to crash

I have older computer, but it is supporting virtualization technologie wich is enabled from bios. Host machines. OS is Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and also the guestmachines OS is the same. I'm using the latest virtualbox version downloaded from Ubuntu repositories. Earlier the guest operating system worked fine after installing guestadditions iso on it, but after I re-do my virtualmachine to make larger virtual disk, it started to have problems on rescaling screen resolution and crash after some usage it crashed and did only load the command line interface, but not the craphical desktop at all. So the earlier Guestadditions worked, but not the newest one. And I have tried this like 6 times already by making reinstallations of ubuntu to the guestmachine. And always the same, workes a while but after craphics crash then its only black screen. I have tried with every possible combinations of virtual box settings. And I have correctly always updated the guest machine first and installed dkms first before installing guest additions. Also the host machine has up to date dkms:s installed. So I cant se any other reason than that there is something wrong with the newest guestadditions iso. Maby it does not support older machines? If it so there should be possibility to download the older guestadditions version.
