I am running PCLOS2007 & WinXP as dual boot on my P4. The HD is only 40GB and there is not enuf room to load Virtual Box. I have a second 40 GB IDE HD mounted internally. Would it be possible to set up my Virtual box on this secondary HD?

What does this mean, not enough room to load VirtualBox? Did you install the application but it refuses to start?

I have 18 Gig set aside for my PCLOS and 18 GIG for the WinXP that runs as dual boot. During the installation I got an error message that a VERR(?) file (or folder) was full. When I checked disk usage, my 18 Gig for PCLOS was 100% used.

Does this make sense?

Ah, I see. Open the VirtualBox GUI. Open the VM settings for your VM. Disconnect the virtual hard disk from that VM. Then unregister the VM from the disk media dialog (HostKey D). Then move your .vdi to the second hard disk. Register the .vdi again and attach it to your VM.

Cool! So it can be done! I will try it when I get home this evening. Many thanks.

HostKey is normally the right CTRL key. This key can be changed from the global settings. The HostKey with some combinations is used as a shortcut for several VM actions as well. Just have a look at the menu, the shortcuts are listed right after the menu items.
