VirtualBox 5.0.14,Ubuntu 14.04: Seamless host/guest windows

Using VirtualBox 5.0.14 on Ubuntu 14.04 host. (Upgraded to 5.0.14 from 5.0.12; at the same time updated guest extensions and guest additions.) Windows 7 guest machine. Running in Seamless mode. When I overlap an Ubuntu (host) window over a Win 7 (guest) window, the host window is not displayed correctly -- it flickers. To use host windows, I have to minimize any overlapping guest windows. 5.0.12 didn't exhibit this problem.

Is there any kind of animation going on in the guest window? Or the host window?

No. But I can report this: I switched out of seamless mode (into the default mode with the Win 7 guest in its own Ubuntu window), then back into seamless mode, and the problem seemed to go away. I'll keep watching it and share any further observations.

I'm running with 256 MB Video Memory, one monitor, 100% Scale Factor, 3D and 2D acceleration enabled (check-boxes grayed-out).
