When shutting down the host (Windows 10, VB 5.0.14) while the virtualbox main window is still open, I just got this array of errors. All VMs were already shut down completely, it was literally just the VB main window sitting there. Perhaps some system service in the background was still doing something, but I wouldn't know about that. What I o know, is that I got this error while windows was trying to shut down. This error was interrupting the shutdown process: After closing that, I got the next one: After that, I got three more: I'm not sure what to make of this. Hopefully a developer can investigate and resolve the problem, whatever the problem may have been...

I have the same problem, and am looking forward to have it fixed.

Any time you have a problem with the new release, especially of what appears to be a new problem, then you should discuss it in the appropriate release discussion topic. For example, a better place for the above would have been the Discuss the 5.0.14 release topic.

I see, but I have no way of knowing whether this problem is tied to a release, or to some other odd condition happening on my computer or one of the VMs... I'll keep it in mind for next time though.

I find it acceptable to post the problem here, as it seems to be a special Windows host problem, which I have experienced since upgrading to version 5.x, which as I recall was 5.0.8.

Well that's fine, but if you'd like it to be fixed then I'd post the news somewhere the devs will be looking.
