My configuration:
Notebook with WLan and Ethernet. Linux mint 17.3 as Host and Linux mint 17.3 as Guest. VirtualBox 5.0.14, Extension Pack 5.0.14.
My problem:
Everything is running OK only no internet access from Mint 17.3 guest. IP address is OK and I can ping every device in network and back.
Even ping to 8.8.8.8 is working. But can't go out with Firefox or update manager.
Other Guest's like XP or Win 7 have no problem with internet connection.
I tried NAT and Bridge connection, different network card's, changed from WLan to Ethernet (host). All possible combinations and configuration
options.
It should work without any configuration changes and in other guests like win its working well so I have no idea any more what to do.

PS: Today I try out openSuse and Knoppix --> working well, no problem with internet access.
