Problem with USB

I'm using running Debian 8.x on VirtualBox. Recently I try to format work with USB on my machine but even after installing VirtualBox extension pack and guest additions still the USB is recognized by the system. I try another USB but the problem still occur. I forgot to mention that the server I'm using is CLI only ( really hate GUI ). I try the same thing on VMware Workstation ( install Debian server and all the modules ) the system recognized the USB immediately after it lass plunged in. I don't like using the Workstation, so anyone no what may cause the issue ?
