So for the last month or so I have been trying to figure out why I've been unable to run Ubuntu on virtualbox on my win7 host machine. Here is a video of the issue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBVwm5a ... e=youtu.be as well as previous post viewtopic.php?f=6&t=75501. After trying many older versions of virtualbox I finally found 4.2.16 to work. This problem does not matter which version of Ubuntu I've tried (12.04,14.02,14.04,15.04,and 15.10) both 32 and 64bit. I have an AMD FX6300 processor, ATI HD7750 video card, 8gb ram. Looking at some of the version change logs I cant really determine what changed that could cause this issue. Any help?

Just went down to 4.2.34 and no success. In the small preview screen I can see that the Ubuntu 14.04 splash screen comes up but my machine screen remains blank. On the preview screen there is some sort of message on the Ubuntu splash screen, which i believe is some sort of error message. I cannot make it out at all since the screen is so small. Is there any other info that I should post. Here is the current snapshot.
