Sending ALT+F2 to guest application

VirtualBox 5.0.14 with guest extensions installed
Host = Windows 10
Guest = Ubuntu 14.04
I am trying to send ALT+F2 (not CTRL+ALT+F2) to an application running in the guest. It seems to always be captured
by the Windows host.
How do I make it be sent to the guest?
