Hello everyone !
I have searched on the forum but I haven't found anything exactly related to my probleme, and so I'm sorry if I write a topic already resolved. I'm also sorry if I make some mistakes when I write, English isn't my native language. Let's go to my problem :
I have 2 PC with windows, one have a virtualbox hosting Linux Debian and the other just windows. But I can't ping my Linux Debian VM from my windows PC. When i write "ping xxxxxxx", it doesn't work and no packages come back well. I tried to configure an Internet network and an Internal network on Virtualbox but it doesn't work too.
Do you have some ideas to fix this problem please ?
Thank you in advance !
Best regards,

If you want another host than the one the VM is running on to be able to do things like ping, you need to use Bridged mode for the VM network adapter config.
Beware that bridging on WiFi adapters do not always work, due to hardware/firmware possible restrictions.

Hello and thank you !
When you say that "bridging on Wifi adapters do not always work", you mean it doesn't rely pc between them or Virtualbox doesn't start in bridged network mode ?
Because I tried it and Virtualbox displayed "Virtualbox failed to open a session for the virtual machine" as error message.
If you have any ideas about the way to fix it please ? I searched on Internet but I find no proper solutions.
Thank you in advance for your help !

By not working I do mean that the data gets lost, but the VM starts fine.
About your error, it's a generic one. Create a new topic for it.
