I'v just completed installing WinXP SP3 using VBox and have several issues,

1. My details under the WinXP VBox Mount reports some device disabled, as seen below, how do I enable these devices such as sound & usb support?

2. When running the VBox WinXP Mount I'm unable to see my other ntfs sata drives which contain content from my previous installation which was Vista. How do I make these drives accessible in the WinXP VBox Mount?

3. Ubuntu is able to see the contents of one of the drive mentioned above in issue #2 but the second drive returns the error below, I understand that i have RAID capabilities but have never enabled them have only used them as individual storage drives. How might I resolve this issue?

$MFTMirr does not match $MFT (record 0). Failed to mount '/dev/sda2': Input/output error NTFS is either inconsistent, or you have a SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows then reboot into windows TWICE. The usage of the /f parameter is very important! If you have SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first you must activate it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g. /dev/mapper/navidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation for the details.

Any help or direction would be appreciated

I found a solution to my 3rd issue with accessibility of NTFS drives. I found my NTFS partition had been corrupted. I fix this issue by using a WindowsXP Boot CD, ERD Commander 2005, to run chkdsk on the drives in question. I'm still having issues with accessing these drives in my WinXP VBox Mount, but no problems no in ubuntu.

Thank you,
