MDT 2013 Update 2 = Disk Disappears (Win10)

Is anyone using VirtualBox 5.x with MDT 2013 Update 2, which runs Windows 10 ADK v1511? I have performed a test upgrade and I can update my reference build (i.e. sysprep and capture) but when I try to deploy that Windows 7 build to a VM using VirtualBox the disk disappears. I can boot into WinPE off the MDT server and diskpart shows the disk, but when the task tries to format/partition it just errors off. A diskpart at that point shows no disk.

Over the recent months several persons have had this issue in the Microsoft forums, but usually with specific hardware. I am having this just with the VM similar to the thread below. VirtualBox 5.0.12 worked just fine with MDT 2012 Update 1 and its Windows 7 ADK, but 5.0.12 and 5.0.14 have some issue. On the Microsoft forums the "solution" seems to be to dump VirtualBox, but I am attached to it and would like to continue to use...

I appear to be having this same exact problem. Newest version 5.0.28 hasn't changed anything it seems.

It might be related to old task sequences on MDT 2013 U2?

Actually I fixed it for myself using a trick i've done before.

Instead of using a virtual SATA adapter, use a virtual IDE adapter. Seems to be imaging for now.
