extension pack help

hello everybody, give it up 4 virtualbox!1
likr ringgo star, need a lil help from my friends!1
so here goes, i opened virtualbox (VB) in ubuntu an installed win7. got the extension pack and while VB was open with win7 running i tryed to openup the extension pack so i could use USBs. and now it wont wont work, ive tryed the a few ways that iv found on the web to fix the problem but they have not worked.
a new borther lable maker has just arrived an for some reason it only works on win an mac! (SPAM_SEARCH win an mac)
ive had to download win7 an install it an all that arigmarole, basically ive been on it all day (an its saturday, sad i no, but yous have all dun it)
need VB guru to help end this day of a high!!1 (agen sad i know)

Shut down everything VirtualBox and then run :-

Code: Select all

VBoxManage extpack cleanup
Check that this leaves the <VBoxExeFolder>/ExtensionPacks folder empty.

Then install the extension pack using the File|Preferences|Extensions panel.

nice1 mate!
dun all that and the install seemed to go ok but now when i go to add the usb it says (no devices available)
i think ive missed a step somewhere?

Please post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

And what is the context in which you see that error message?
