pseudo drive use in other linux version

Hi
I did install with difficulty windows 95 (because the boot system of the windows 95 don't work in virtualbox modus) in virtual box in an old and special version of linux
this week, i did reinstall my main linux partition on the same computer (same hardware, same linux but more actual, and other partition numero)
can I re-use my pseudo-drive with the successfull installation. copy into in the other partition. but as I don't want to preserve the old partition it would be possible to erase all the file system of the old debian excepted the /home and to use the /home as /home on an separate partition but I am affraid that the crypted keys to my user areal don't work?
what i the best way for my purpose?
