Menu Bar is Missing

I have tried everything to get the menu bar to pop up but cannot. I am running Virtaul Box 4.3.2 r90405 and WIndows 7 professional as the host and windows XP as the guest. I have gone into the preferences - input - and changed the host key to another key but no avail. One thing i have noticed is that when the host key is the right control button and hit the host key + home to pull up the menu it just goes to the top right hand corner of the screen and the vm menu does not appear. I am in scale mode and cannot do anything to get out this mode, all the host key combinations do not work. Very frustrated PLease help!!! I

- Does it happen with all your VMs?
- Do the rest of the Host+Keys work?
- What is your keyboard layout? On the host and on the VM.

- What is your keyboard layout? On the host and on the VM both English i would assume that is what u are asking
