Both Win 10 & VB were updated since my last use of VB. Now the error

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Win7.

Nonexistent host networking interface, name 'Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter' (VERR_INTERNAL_ERROR).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ConsoleWrap
Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

Seems like there was an adapter named 'Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter', but it isn't there now.

The only adapters installed are 'Ethernet', not in use
Intel wireless and VB Host Only network.

Not on a Win10 host, but...
When I updated my OSX from 10.6.8 to 10.9.5, OSX decided to rename my WiFi adapter (built-in mind you, not external or USB). VirtualBox would come up with an error about a non-existent interface. Simply re-selecting the adapter or changing the networking, (simply) fixed it. Can you give it a shot?

I tried that, but no good.

Maybe a uninstall and reinstall?

Reinstalled and changed the adapter, that solved the issue.

Thanks!
