Hello Everyone and thanks ahead of time for any and all assistance.

I just created a VirutalBox for Win2k and was adding Guest Additions to allow for a sharing folder. While running the iso the installation gets to the point of the "Digital Signature Not Found" pop-up, I accept it by selecting "Yes" the the "File Progress" window pops and then freezes. No progress is shown on the progress bar and everything freezes at that point. I've have retried about three times now with difference in response. The xVM VirtualBx Guest Additions in the Sun folder on the Guest drive has been loaded with files, but I have no way of knowing if it is complete, or truly frozen mid-installation.

Any suggestions on what to do next? Or, has been completed but the windows just didn't update?

Please post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip, and attach the zip here.

The Guest Additions ISO is bundled with VirtualBox. You mount the ISO by choosing the "Insert Guest Additions CD image..." item on the Devices menu.

I don't know what that ISO is that you have loaded, but if it really is from 2.2.0 then it's around 8 years out of date.

Thanks for the response. I redid the installation of the Win2k VirtualBox and the Guest additions and I ended up with the same results. I've attached the log from this attempt (from what I can tell of the logs). Any information that will help me get by this is appreciated.

Well, perhaps you have a problem with your Win2k installation, because we can be pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the Windows GAs. Others would have noticed. That said, not a lot of people are creating Win2K VMs these days.

The only other thing I notice: a 5GB system drive strikes me as a tad small. I would have suggested 32GB.
