VirtualBox 5 - Ubuntu 14.04 ERROR

Post by amarilisten »

I hope that this only were a dream (bad dream) because if this was a truth so I would like to be a great programer to make something good.
When I start VirtualBOx the default value is to initiate in fullscreen but virtualbox make things really bad like the images attached when It is not initiated in fullscreen but windows. grrr The solution is right CTRL + F many times to solve.
Please, fix it.
Or maybe I am doing something wrong. ????

Instead of telling us your dreams, it would be more productive to post a VM log file: With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Have you even posted in the correct forum? You posted in "Linux Hosts", but your host clearly seems to be OS X. Moving this to "Linux Guests".

An apple on the left hand side (and a second on the right one actually) does not an OSX host make. Even if it's a bitten one ;). That's a Linux host with a modified theme to resemble Cupertino's OS, given the menu bar extras that appear on the screenshots.

So the guest is Windows? I guess Linux Hosts is appropriate then, since it looks like broken host graphics.

In fact I think I'll prefer to do the opposite.

- You have assigned 512MB of RAM to a Win7 client. That's a little bit low. Try 1024MB.
- You have 2D and 3D disabled in the VM settings.
- Next time, please try to follow the instructions given to you and shut down the VM before zipping the log. It's incomplete.
