Acceleration tab suddenly became grayed out [Win7]

Post by Skiv398 »

Hello !

Enabling the computer today and get to work, after a while realized that my system is somehow turned off virtualization (this is proven by Speecy and AIDA program).

So i couldn't start my Virtual Machine because of error.
Then i went to the settings and found out that acceleration tab suddenly became grayed out

The first thing I went into the BIOS and checked VT checkbox is included there, but everything is in order and worth the value "Enabled".

I decided to first shutdown and restart the computer, and then further to include all again, but it did not help.

Yesterday, oddly enough, everything worked perfectly and without any problems, and it's hard to imagine that such a sudden could suddenly occur because nobody has touched my pc.

Prompt, please, what it can be, and how to solve it?

Motherboard - Asus Sabertooth p67
CPU - Intel Pentium g840

Do you happen to run Avast? Then, see: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=76191
Otherwise, take a look at I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests for some more general guidelines.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
