Cannot connect to X server

Cannot connect to X server

i'm installed virtualbox on ubuntu server 15.04.
When i try to satart it with sudo virtualbox it says Qt WARNING: Virtualbox: cannot connect to X server
any way to fix this?

I'm not sure, but, why do you need 'sudo'? AFAIK, VirtualBox was designed to run in userspace, not in admin space.

Still without the sudo it's not working still the same error
