Hi,

I'm quite new to VirtualBox, but I have been using VMware Workstation for years so I do know something about VMs.
I've tried several times in vain now to get VirtualBox to run on my Windows 7 SP1 x64 machine. No matter what VM I give it, it always crashes within a few seconds with a nasty memory error. Today I wanted to check out Docker, but since that too depends on a VM in VirtualBox, I can't get that to work either. When I try to start the VM that comes with Docker (boot2docker.iso) from the VirtualBox Manager I get the attached error (just like with other VMs).
Can anyone help me with this?

Does nobody have any suggestions about how to analyze and hopefully solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated.....

Are you trying to run VMs that were created in VMWare or are you creating new VMs?

Please post the VM log file for one of your VMs. With the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" to a zip, and attach the zip here.

This looks like the Avira bug to me. Are you using Avira AV?

When asking a question on the forums you should provide a VM log file as a matter of course. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
