I'm seeing a high host CPU usage while running either 32-bit Linux Mint 17 or 64-bit Linux Mint 17.3. I'm running a Windows 7 host setup. I'm attaching the VBox.log file. I see about 11% CPU usage when the guest OS is sitting idle. Here is the output of vmstat showing the Linux OS doing very little:
