Hi All,
I'm running a windows 10 host and guest setup. I've installed itunes on the guest with the intention of updating the ios on some ipads. During the install process the ipad does some reboots. When the ipad reboots, the usb on the guest does not reengage though I can hear the connection sound on the host. Itunes on the guest gives the waiting for ipad message.
When I try to manually click on devices - usb - ipad usb in gust i get the message:
Failed to attach the USB device Apple Inc. Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode) to the virtual machine YPS Itunes.
USB device 'Apple Inc. Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode)' with UUID {fda0c75a-54cd-4c35-ba6d-1815b3255139} is busy with a previous request. Please try again later.

Re: usb connectivity problem
The Apple devices change their USB product id during the update process.
An easy workaround is to us an USB filter definition which just contains a name, the Apple vendor id and no product id.
