[Networking]guest can reach host but not any other devices

guest-Kubuntu 15.10
Host-Windows 10
network mode-Bridged network
host<->guest pings work and any server i run on my host can be accessed by the guest and the other way around
i can see my guest gets a unique IP from the router however when i try to access/ping other devices on the network (lets say 192.168.1.11) i get a response from the host (192.168.1.22) that the destination host is unreachable

Use wireshark to isolate the cause.

tried disabling the host firewall, no dice.
and my knowledge with WS is "meh" at best
