VERR_SHARING_VIOLATION - NetApp simulator appliance

Trying to import a NetApp simulator (virtual appliance) into Version 5.0.10 r104061 via the GUI, and getting this error:
Failed to import appliance C:/Users/plynch/Downloads/vsim-netapp-DOT8.3.1-cm.ova.
Could not read the file 'vsim-netapp-DOT8.3.1-cm-disk2.vmdk.gz' (VERR_SHARING_VIOLATION).
Result Code: VBOX_E_FILE_ERROR (0x80BB0004)

I've deleted the original folder for the virtual app in the VirtualBox folder, and tried again, but this error persists.
