USB Wireless Adapter Disappearing

Post by softwarecoder »

I have a computer with an ethernet card as well as the ethernet on the motherboard.

This is windows 10.

I recently install a DLINK USB wireless adapter. The problem is that the ethernet disappears from my VM settings so that when I start a VM it has no network. Sometimes retrying works. Sometimes I need to reinstall VirtualBox.

Is there a solution?

You mentioned three adapters; are you referring to the wireless USB one? If so, do you have anything funny registered at the Event Viewer on your host?
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
