Don't share the folders to begin with? Am I missing something? If you don't share a folder, well, there is no shared folder, no?

Sorry, I haven't explained well. I'm a teacher and I'm teaching in a classroom with 20 computers. I teach other operating systems than windows and every computer has a virtualbox installed. The students have no admin privileges on windows host, but they can share folders on host computer. So they change some system files on windows host and, using command line program, they get admin privileges, so they can install everything. I'd like to prevent to share folders for everyone (or, at least, not share windows system files) to block access to this folders.

You can review some of the lock-down options in section 9.20 of the user manual, but frankly, access to host folders by a particular user ought IMHO to be a configuration matter for the host OS.
