Hi folks,
I've tried to install a virtual Windows 7 on a Windows 8.1 Host System.
The installation got failed. I searched for the reason why the installation did not worked but I can find the failure.
Maybe someone can help me.
I've attached the log file of the failed installation on this post. You will find the log file in the zip compressed file (becaus the log file has 209 KB)
Thank you in advance
br
Thorsten

The log that you attached shows nothing wrong with your guest. It runs fine for 44 minutes when it is asked to shut down. It even has (older) Guest Additions installed and working! Are you sure you have the correct log?
PS. Zipping the log file is the correct thing to do...

Yes, it was the correct Log File because I reninstalled my host system yesterday an tried to install the vm today
and it is the only one vm on the host.
There ar not other vm on the host systems.

That's odd. Did someone update the log? Because the log I see has the VM running for only 10 minutes, and there's a clear guru meditation message :-

Triple fault means the guest OS tried something nasty. Given that this is Win7 I doubt that any MS code caused it... so where did this Win7 image come from?

What on earth was I seeing? I re-downloaded the log and sure, nothing to do with what I had in mind. I have no clue what happened here...
