How do i create a virtual DOS Bootable drive?

I tried creating but at one step its asks to install on C: Drive and it uses FDisk to create partition. Will this option erase my existing C:\ drive or is it only a virtual C:\ drive.

Please help. I usaualy run a batch file in FREE DOS by booting through Pendrive. I want to avoid using Pendrive and run Free DOS environment virtually or on a virtual drive. I used Daemon also nothing helps. Please suggest??

Thanks in advance!!!

Tell me, what would you expect the guest to say? Could it say "I know I'm running in a virtual PC so would you like me to format your virtual disk"? Obviously it doesn't know that the hardware is virtual, so it can't say that. Nevertheless the drives it refers to are indeed all virtual.

The same applies regardless of the guest OS.
