Windows 8.1, VB 5.0.10 r104061, NUMLOCK issues still present

I am running Windows 8.1 on the host and VirtualBox 5.0.10 guest. Each time I open a new instance, regardless whether it's Android 4.4 or Lubuntu Pristine, my numlock gets turned off. Once I turn it back on, I can switch countless times between host and guest without issues. Once I get timed out of Lubuntu, my numlock gets turned off again, but then I have to hit the numlock 3 times to get it to work right. How do I make this go away; it gets very frustrating. This has been going on for me since around VirtualBox 4.10 and later.
