If the guest is connected by NAT, the different IP address ranges are expected. 10.0.2.15 for the guest sounds normal.
Shut down the guest in the normal fashion, then please provide this:
Minimal information needed to be able to help Also, put in the zip file the guest's .vbox file so we can see how your guest is set up.

Surely the .vbox file isn't that big, it's just a text XML file, just a few kb. You're not confusing it with the virtual disk? The file has the extension ".vbox", likely in your "C:\Users\Utilisateur\VirtualBox VMs\Debian\" folder.

The file you posted does not have a .vbox extension. It has a .xml extension, Sorry, not the one I'm looking for. Try again, please. A clue: read my previous post carefully.

Thanks, that was the right file. it does appear you are connected via NAT. NAT should work just fine with wifi, and you should be able to browse the web. I just tested an XP guest on NAT and it got to the internet.
As a test, make sure that your Windows host laptop will respond to pings (google for how to allow ping on a Windows PC), then inside the guest try to ping your host laptop's IP address 10.214.12.10 If the pings go through without loss, then the network is good.

I'm having trouble with an Internet connection from my Redhat V6 Guests running VirtualBox on Windows 7. I use to have Internet connection but no longer have a connection. I have tried various things but nothing is working. The version of Virtual Box is 4.3.26 r98988. Both the Host and Guest are 64 bit. Attached are the log files.

My windows can't ping internet ( I try to ping google and it doesn't work ) but my VM can ping my windows.
Maybe a problem due to IPV6 ?
