Release USB device
VirtualBox Version 5.0.10 r104061. Windows XP 32-bit SP3 Guest on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 Host. I accidentally clicked on mu USB printer from the Host Key menu. Now it reads "Captured" when I hover over that menu choice. And I can no longer print from my Host machine. How do I release it?

Re: Release USB device
Have you tried clicking on it?
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

Re: Release USB device
Hi and thanks for the reply! Yes, I tried that and it doesn't do anything. I was finally able to resolve it by completely shutting down the VM. Just restarting didn't work - I had to completely shut it down. Then the printer started working on the Host and when I restarted the VM it was no longer captured - shows "Busy" when hovered over it.socratis wrote:Have you tried clicking on it?
