Why would you want to do that? What would you do with it that you can't do with the release version?

Beta builds are pretty irrelevant once the OS is released (and are usually time-bombed so that they expire after a short time).

I can only think of one reason someone would want to try and install a beta version of Windows 7 but I will keep my thought to myself.

I've actually installed Chicago and the XP beta, even more enjoyable to use then 95 and XP, because you have the same old things in 95 as you do in XP. I mean their isn't a big change from the beta to the full version, like i've done with XP and 95 to their betas. 8)

See this: Minimal information needed to be able to help

The logs may be able to help.

Also, please tell us exactly what is happening when you "can't install it". Describe the things you see on the screen. "The guest window opens with a Virtualbox 5.0 screen, then the "Windows is loading files" screen appears, then..." Something like that.

I doubt that the logs will help here - nobody will be interested in helping a beta OS limp along. It either works with normal OS template or it doesn't. If it doesn't, then go get the proper supported (release version) guest OS.

"<stolen property> I found online" doesn't inspire the greatest confidence either. All the Win7 betas were time limited, and remain copyrighted. If they are available online then it cannot be with the copyright holders permission, which means we are discussing a cracked version.
