What to change when the Network I connect to has changed

I am not a guru at Networking at all so if this question is really simple to answer I apologize. I want to prepare for a trip I will be on in 2 weeks.
1) My laptop receives it's network connection via wifi.
2) I have an external hard drive that is connected to my laptop where my Virtualbox is installed and my image run from.
3) In the Settings under Network I am using a Adapter 1 as a Bridged Adapter and the name is set to "Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 and I have Adapter 2 as a NAT (No name - I'm not sure at the moment why I have that one setup.)
Problem: When I go from my home to another location and I connect to their Ethernet connection my Images do not have any internet connections and I cannot ping them any longer. My image is setup to use static IP's so I don't know if this is as simple as going in to my Network tab and changing the Name setting for Adapter 1 to be the one listed called "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I218-LM or if there is more I would also have to update in my Centos 7 image and the setting it has setup.
Same question, if I am connecting to another wifi network other than the one I have at home.
Thank you in advance.
