Hey everyone,
I currently have a Windows Server 2012R2 running VBox with Ubuntu 14.04 guest, which has a webserver and Owncloud installed.
However the download speeds are horrible (for a server connected with 1 Gbit/s). I am using the NAT-Network option to forward IPv4 and IPv6 - is this the problem?
The host machine reaches 500 Mbit/s download and 600 Mbit/s upload - the guest only packs 5 -10 Mbit/s up and down. Is there anything I can do to make the network faster? Or should I switch to Hyper-V?
Best regards,
Philipp
