This one of the most asked questions.

First read the message and follow the given hints.

Else delete OSE Version if installed. Then install Version from VBOX Homepage. And then first read User Manuel for needed Packages.

Reinstall what and how? Same Message? Have you checked the User Manual for the needed Software to compile the Module?

No, not this way. You must install the Version from VBOX Homepage.

On the host I'd advise you turn off any automatic updates. Although 8.04 is supposed to be a "stable" release, for whatever reason the people in charge feel the need to make loads of updates available on a regular basis.
I made the mistake of accepting these upgrades once (I run AMD64/8.04, too), without inspecting what was going on. the result was that I ended up with a different linux kernel being installed. In that situation, you have to rebuild and reinstall some kernel modules on your host.

Without wishing to start a fight, this falls far short of my definition of a stable system.
